Phew, what a week, we hope everyone had as much fun as we did!

On the final few days of Cul Camp the kids had a visit from the ice cream van, played a series of blitzes and had a visit from three very special guests, Laura Hayes of St. Catherines (& Cork), Ciarán Joyce of Castlemartyr (& Cork) and the O’Duffy Cup!

Laura and Ciarán spoke to the kids about their time in Cúl Camp (including the fact that one of the coaches was helping out again this year 👋Barra), signed their hurleys and helmets and answered their questions.

Question of the day goes to Brooke who asked Laura about inclusion on underage teams and development panels. Laura described how she had been dropped from an underage team, and how some of the ladies that now have all Ireland medals never made any underage team! Laura highlighted how important it is to keep practising and never give up.

Finally, many of the boys and girls got a photo with the O’Duffy cup so see if you can spot anyone you know below.
